In the many years that I have been a part of conducting large conference events, I have never met or worked with a more customer service oriented organisation than the staff at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. Your team provided a level of service that is off of the charts. If 10 is excellent service then the team at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole provided a level of 15.
It was as if they could read our minds and were always one step ahead of us in their preparation. This is one location that I will return to as often as is possible.

We have trusted the Hilton Birmingham Metropole with our highest profile annual gala event project for the last 8 years. This trust is due to the hotel's unstinting support and ability in running successful large scale events with the complex facets and operational challenges that providing accessible accommodation and functions for high-volumes of wheelchair users brings.
Throughout the years continuous working through detailed feedback, discussions and development has led to many tangible improvements in the guest's experience whilst at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.
An astonishing commitment to ensuring that up to 100 wheelchair users are catered for includes taking up to 80 bedrooms out of sales stock on the night prior to the event to allow the maintenance team to make adjustments to standard access bedrooms to enable wheelchair access - even including removing bathroom doors and excess furniture!

The Gideons International in the British Isles has held its annual National Convention at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for over 25 years. There are many reasons why Gideons return to the Metropole each year - the excellent quality of the facilities on offer; great value for money; easy access to air, road and rail links, being just some of these reasons. However, the main reason Gideon members hold this hotel in such high esteem is the friendly and helpful service they receive from all the staff during their convention weekend, staff for whom nothing seems to be too much bother!
